Meet J.C.
A life lived out loud.
J.C.’s joy was infectious, his humor was unforgettable, and his determination left a community stronger.
Joy was his rhythm.
Music was J.C.’s true love. He played bass guitar, rocked out on the drums, and loved bands including Cross Canadian Ragweed and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He eagerly joined praise and worship at Together We Church—and never missed a chance to make somebody laugh with a perfectly timed sound effect.
Always in the game.
J.C. enjoyed soccer, baseball, shooting hoops, tossing the football with his dad, push-chair 5Ks, trips to the zoo, and Oklahoma State football games. His love of participation helped inspire the Yukon Spirit League, creating sports opportunities for children and adults with different abilities.
Friendship, trucks, and Buddy.
After graduating from Mustang High School in 2020, J.C. became an active participant at the Daily Living Center in Bethany and built lasting friendships. He loved trucks—especially trailer hitches—and shared an indescribable bond with his best friend, Buddy. His daily walks happened in every kind of weather, a simple and powerful expression of his determination and love for life.
J.C.’s legacy is movement.
To laugh freely. To include others. To show up. To keep walking. To turn love into action—and make every moment count.
